The threat of rain and summer thunderstorms never deters me from being inspired or excited on a wedding day or inspirational shoot. While rain threatened off shore and over Connecticut, it brought some amazing clouds and a breeze to Nappatree point in Westerly. The area is a beach and conservation area that stretches out in a little peninsula at the very tip of Rhode Island. It is full of luscious tall grass, birds and wildlife, an amazing jetty, and a harbor of sailboats. What more could a Rhode Island girl want? Actually, maybe puppies, but they were there too, and we just couldn’t let one by without letting this doggy loving duo show them some love! Stunning florals and a lace shift dress made this the perfect bohemian elopement affair. After the sun hid behind the clouds for good, we enjoyed some amazing gelato and headed out just as a thunderstorm (and flash flood warning) broke out, but gave us some amazing sky before. Summer may be nearly over, but I’ll always love a couple that wants to run away to the beach to elope! #willstopforpuppies
As summer comes to an end and the gorgeous Fall wedding season begins, there is nothing more exciting than a bohemian inspired bridal shoot with amazing vendor collaborations! Our shoot took place at Coogan Farm in Mystic, Connecticut on a balmy summer evening. The farm will soon be hosting weddings and events, and has miles of walking trails and fields perfect for photography in any season. Getting to shoot one of my favorite couples again, collaborating with awesome creative minds, and exploring new places is the ideal way to end the summer. Time to get cozy in sweaters and boots and all things pumpkin spice and kick off the Fall season!

I'm always up for an adventure and exploring new places, a wedding by the sea as summer ends was a wonderful way to end the season. Kristin and John were married right by the ocean at the Lighthouse Inn in Dennis, MA (Cape Cod). Since they love being by the ocean this venue was perfect, from its seaside charm and beautiful lighting. The cabins for the couple to get ready in were just adorable, it would be so much fun to stay here by the sea! We decided last minute to do a first look, and the docks by the ocean made the perfect backdrop for this as well as family and bridal party photos. Congratulations Kristin and John, I had a blast capturing your big day!

I was completely honored when Megan, one of my college professors, asked me to photograph her wedding in August! The ceremony was held at St Lukes in Westborough, Massachusetts, one of the cutest towns I have ever seen. The reception was held out of state later so I didn't cover it, but had a great time capturing this adorable couples I Do's!

A few weeks ago I had the honor of again second shooting for my friend Kellyanne of Kelleyanne Bujold Photography (http://www.kelleyannebujoldphotography.com/). It was a beautiful New England Fall day, the trees were in prime color, and it was not too warm or too cold. The sun was shining and the venue was beautiful as well! The wedding party got ready at the Sheraton in Framingham, MA, a place fit for a king and queen. The reception was there as well, in the beautifully decorated ballroom aglow in blue and purple. The ceremony took place at the Saint Paul Catholic Church in Wellesley, which had fantastic gardens for the grounds, and a quaint but scenic park across the street that was perfect for formals, and a little silliness beforehand! Congrats to this beautiful couple, may your marriage be happy and full of love!
