This was an engagement session I was looking forward to for a while! Ever since I met Heather and Connor earlier this year I knew we were going to have a great time together. They are fun, adventurous and love beautiful locations. Newport is always one of my favorite places for sessions, especially by the Cliff Walk. There are so many beautiful places along the ocean and behind the mansions that photograph beautifully and are bright and beautiful! I feel like I’ve stepped right into Downton Abbey! After the Cliff Walk we headed over to Fort Adams for a change of seaside scenery, to explore by the piers, and catch that iconic Newport Bridge sunset! Congratulations Heather and Connor, I can’t wait for your Lake Pearl wedding next year!
On the lovliest of June days, Cassi and Mike tied the knot at Holy Name Church in New Bedford, followed by a seaside reception at The Bohlin in Newport! What better backdrop for a wedding than views of the Newport Bridge and harbor, as well as the feeling of love in the air. The way Mike looked at Cassi all day, the tears of joy, and the beautiful connections between family and friends are what makes weddings so special. From the florals by Carlone's, the amazing looking cake, and the sparkly details of the table numbers, this is sure to be one happily ever after! I was excited to work with Peter and his team from Amylon Productions, they were so considerate and easy to team up with for those must have shots!
Congratulations Cassi and Mike!

On a windy and warm Spring day, I met Liz and Nick, dressed to the nines down at Sachuest Point. It was so hot that day, but was breezy and cool down by the water, and as soon as I met them I felt like we were old friends right away! Her center stone in her ring is also a family heirloom, that Nick had set in a gorgeous Tacori mounting, how sweet and special is that!? These two were up for a little walking adventure, as we stopped at some of my favorite places around the wildlife preserve. I've hiked here for years and always thought it would be a beautiful sunlit setting for couples portraits.
Congrats on your engagement and your wonderful future ahead Liz and Nick!

This session was magical after one of our famous New England snow storms this past winter! I met Krista and Nichole through one of my second shooters and was excited to hear about their Fall wedding. I thought that using their Starbucks coffee mugs would add the perfect personal touch to their photos because that's how they met, and how cute are those mugs?! I believe every couple should have an engagement session, because it helps me get to know them while having some fun, and what part of throwing snowballs around and drinking coffee is not fun?!

I was completely honored when Megan, one of my college professors, asked me to photograph her wedding in August! The ceremony was held at St Lukes in Westborough, Massachusetts, one of the cutest towns I have ever seen. The reception was held out of state later so I didn't cover it, but had a great time capturing this adorable couples I Do's!
